• Gobelin Shrike 2

Deuxième Gobelin réalisé à l'époque pour Imbrian Art.
Malheureusement le succès du Kickstarter n'est pas suivi assidument par Jody.
Du coup, ce petitou est encore à la maison.

• Traqueur - Orque de Bran-Ô-Kor

Ma première conversion lourde.
Le corps la tête et le bras droit (sans la main) (2ème ligne, celui de gauche) proviennent d'un tueur Amok.
La tête a été repositionné: la jonction cou/torse a été resculpté.
La jonction avec la main droite a également été sculpté sous forme d'un tissu.
La main droite provient de "Törk l'animal". J'ai joué du scalpel pour tailler ce menhir ^^
Le bras gauche quand à lui, vient du Guerrier Mystique 2.
L'épaule et l'épaulette on été entière sculpté. Le but étant d'obtenir une armure/trophée en forme d'ossement.

Le socle est une nouvelle tentative de créer une ambiance sur la pièce. Et une première dans l'utilisation de pigments.
En l'état l'histoire est celle d'un Traqueur guettant l'horizon en quête de troubles, d'un oasis ou d'un sculpturale femelle orque que sais-je ^^

My first heavy conversion.
The body's head and right arm (without hands) (2nd line, the left one) come from a Amok killer.
The head was repositioned: the neck / torso was re-sculpted.
The junction with the right hand was also carved in the form of a piece of cloth.
The right hand comes from "Törk the animal." 
I played the scalpel to carve this menhir ^^
The left arm comes from the Mystic Warrior 2.
The shoulder and the armored shoulder have been fully sculpted. The goal is to get armor / trophy in the shape of bones.

The base is a new attempt to create an atmosphere for the mini. And a first in the use of pigments.
In the state's history is that of a Ranger watching the horizon in search of problems, an oasis or a sexy female what not ^^

• Rôdeur - Wolfen d'Yllia

Une autre pièce qui se sera échelonnée sur plusieurs années: quand on sait qu'il s'agit d'un commande pour un particulier... bon ok, on va oublier cette partie du message ahah.
Une pièce qui m'aura vraiment fait suer mais sur laquelle au final j'aurais appris pas mal de trucs.
Une première tentative de socle vraiment "travaillé".

Une bande entamée à la sortie du jeu Escape. Il s’agissait d'une commande mais qui n'a pas abouti.
Une fois finie, cette bande se retrouvera dans la section "à vendre" ;)

Suite et fin du Leman Russ démarré lors d'un stage aérographe.
C'était vraiment plaisant à faire.
Je me pencherais à nouveau sur un blindé je pense.

S'Ygma... Fini ! Ou comment tuer le mythe de l'Arlésienne ;)

• S'Ygma - Ophidien

Avant de montrer des projets plus récents, attardons nous sur la fin de cette figurine.
Elle m'en aura pris du temps. Ou plutôt du non temps ^^
La peinture s'échelonne sur deux ans et force est de constater que ça se ressent sur l'ensemble de la pièce.
Mais je ne vais pas bouder mon plaisir. Ce S'Ygma était la pièce maîtresse de mon display présenté lors de l'édition 2013 du FIMAJE.

L'occasion pour moi de découvrir ce salon qui reste un rendez-vous incontournable. Qui plus est, il clôture (sauf erreur de ma part) les salons en France.
J'ai aussi pu rencontré un mec vraiment sympa que j'ai pris plaisir à revoir en 2015: Mister José Manuel Palomares Nunez !

Faite une bonne action ^^

Before showing recent projects, we tarry on the end of that figure.
It has taken me time. Or rather not time ^^
The paint is spread over two years and it is clear that it feels on the whole.

But I will not sulk my pleasure. If Ygma was the centerpiece of my display presented at the 2013 FIMAJE. And it allowed me to win a bronze medal in the Masters category Painting ^^

The opportunity for me to discover this show remains a must-attend event. Moreover, closing it (unless I am mistaken) conventions in France.
I also have met a really nice guy I enjoyed review in 2015: Mister José Manuel Palomares Nunez!

Make a good thing ^^

TWO YEARS........ o_O'

• Oh yes. I Do !

Notre ancien président le disant mieux que je ne saurais le faire, je lui laisse la parole ^^
"Oh putain deux ans!"

Pourquoi deux ans.
Et bien comme, je le pense, beaucoup de peintres, connus, actifs ou simplement lambdas comme j'aime à me définir.. j'ai eu une période disons de doutes: de remises en questions.
A la fois sur l'utilité de ce hobby pour moi, ma vie, mais aussi sur mon niveau.
Ayant parfois tenté l'expérience de commandes pros ou privés... le tout se soldant non pas par des échecs mais par... ok des échecs ahah. Ajoutons une pincée de privée mouvementée, et vous obtenez un savant cocktail de ras le bol. Ceci se traduisant, du moins chez la gente masculine par une perte de motivation (le Mojo...ndlr) inversement proportionnelle au besoin de se recentrer sur des activités moins cérébrales qu'ont été le rugby et la consommation accrue de bières et autre régime minceur (Mc'do, chips et piiiiiizzas ;)
Bref, une période de flottement "figurinistiquement" parlant qui m'a tenu éloigné des concours, salons, et même du berceau qu'est la TeamToulouse Création ^^

Mais comme souvent pour un homme, c'est une femme qui m'a remis en selle ^^
Et ma résurrection ahah est passée, comme par hasard, par ce qui se fait de mieux comme salon en terme de convivialité et disponibilité des vedettes présentes ^^ FIMAJE 2015
Le niveau du concours n'étant pas en reste.
Mais je vous en reparle très prochainement (Hé! Qui a dit en 2020! Montre toi, si tu as des couil%$£8! ^^)

Why two years.

Well like, I think, a lot of painters, known simply lambdas assets or as I like to define myself .. I had a period of doubt: discounts in question.
Both the usefulness of this hobby for me, my life, but also on my level. I sometimes experimented with painting orders for pros or private ... all is not resulting in failures but ... haha ​​ok failures because there always were "one shot".
Add a pinch of turbulent private life, and you get a clever cocktail flush the bowl.This is reflected, at least in humans, the male, a loss of motivation (the Mojo!) inversely proportional to the need to focus on less brain activity that were for me, rugby and increased consumption of beer and other low-fat diet (Mc'Do, chips and piiiiiizzas;)
In short, a period of uncertainty "figurinistiquement" talking kept me away contests, exhibitions, and even cradle ! TeamToulouse Création

But as often for a man, obviously this is a woman that made me back in the saddle ^^
And my resurrection .. haha increased coincidentally with the very best convention in terms of usability and availability of these stars ^^ The FIMAJE 2015 !
The level of competition is not far behind. 

But I'll talk to you soon (Hey! Who said in 2020! Watch yourself, if you have corrones ^^)
 

S'Ygma - WIP 2

• S'Ygma - Ophidien

Bon je ne vais pas réitérer mais c'est plus un bruit de cercueil qu'on ouvre que je devrais faire....mais une sonnerie Divine tant le dernier post remonte (Merci à Junk Koroba pour me motiver à reprendre le clavier ;)

Le concours ou plutôt le salon parce que mine de rien quand on y est on se croirait chez soi tant l'ambiance y détendue et agréable... je veux parler du Salon FIMAJE
( http://lacompagniedestrolls.jimdo.com/fimaje/ ) qui se déroule chaque années à ANTIBES. J'ai eu la chance de prendre par à une expédition de la TeamToulouse pour me retrouver durant un weekend aussi comblé d'avoir fait ce salon, comme je le fus lors du premier Ravage mix Open à la capitale...c'est dire !
Les salons sont pour moi et beaucoup je pense - outre l'excuse de se retrouver entre grands enfants sous couvert légitime de défendre une passion artistique de surcroît ahah - de se donner une deadline pour venir à bouts de tous les projets que nos cerveaux non de cessent de nous imposer ;)
Pour moi ce fût l'occasion d'honorer la fin de cette commande.

S'Ygma a donc pu sortir de l'ombre de son parasol.

Well I will not repeat but it is not a sound coffin is opened should I do .... but a Divine ring as the last post back (Thanks to Junk Koroba to motivate me to take the keyboard ;)The contest or rather the living because once you're there it feels like home as the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable ... I mean the FIMAJE convention that takes place every year in Antibes . I had the chance to go with TeamToulouse to find me during a weekend filled also for making this show, as I was on the first mix Ravage Open in Paris ... say it!The conventions like FIMAJE, are for me and many I think - also the excuse to get together with older children under the guise of defending a legitimate artistic passion moreover haha - to give a deadline to come to the ends of all the projects that our brains are constantly to impose on us ;)For me it was an opportunity to honor the end of this command.

S'Ygma has been out of the shadow of his umbrella ..he net 

Décidément les figurines Rackham sont vraiment celles que je préfère mettre en couleur! RIP Big Dragon!
